*Parents – This schedule is subject to change! It is always a good idea to arrive at least one hour before the performance time in case there are any last-minute changes to the schedule. Parking at marching band tournaments is ALWAYS a challenge.
*If the weather forecast reads above 90 degrees, we will move our rehearsal time to 8:30AM to keep the kids out of the heat.
10:30AM – Call Time/On Field
- Please be on the field on time and prepared for rehearsal!
- Please eat a HEALTHY breakfast before you arrive.
- Please come to rehearsal in proper uniform under dressings.
- DO NOT wear your marching shoes to rehearsal. Your shoes should be CLEAN and packed in your bag.
1:30 – Rehearsal Ends/Load Truck/Break
- It is your responsibility to make sure your instrument(s) get loaded onto the truck.
- Please eat something healthy during this time.
- Students MAY NOT leave campus during this time unless a parent/guardian provides Mr. Wooten with written permission.
- Please use this time to eat, relax, check your bags, and make sure you are prepared for the remainder of the day.
3PM – Meet in Sections (Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, and Guard)
- Use this time to make sure you have everything you need for the remainder of the day.
3:15 – Depart by Bus
- Remember proper bus behavior (see handbook)
- All students must be wearing their SHHS polo shirt or 2025 show shirt at this time. If it is too cold for your polo shirt you may wear your Logo Sweatshirt or Member Jacket.
- COLOR GUARD – Please wear your warmups.
4PM – Arrive @ Chino HS
- Unload Truck/Use Restroom
- Eat something healthy!
5PM – Get into Uniform
- 5PM – Girls change into uniform.
- 5:20 – Boys change into uniform.
5:45 – Depart for Warm Up Zone
5:55 – Warm Up
6:55 – Depart Warm Up Zone for Gate/Staging
7:05 – Arrive @ Gate/Staging
7:15 – Performance
7:30 – Return to busses/truck
- SAME PROCEDURE AS ABOVE!
- Girls change first
- Boys change second
- Boys will begin to load the truck while girls are changing. Girls will continue to load the truck while boys are changing.
- Once everyone has changed and the truck is loaded, we will return to the stadium.
- All students should be wearing their polo shirt or show shirt at this time.
- COLOR GUARD – Please wear your warmups.
8:30 – Return to Stadium
10:15 – Awards
- ALL students must be seated together as soon as the awards ceremony begins!
- Please make sure we are always well behaved and courteous to others!
10:45 – Return to Busses/Truck
11PM – Depart
11:30 – Arrive at SHHS
- Once the truck is unloaded and the band room is cleaned up you will be dismissed.

Black Marching Shoes – MUST BE CLEAN!

Logo Shirt (to be worn at rehearsal)
