*If you pre-order your merchandise BEFORE Friday, they will have your items ready for you to pick up at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday!
*If you do not pre-order, inventory may be limited on Saturday night and there will not be a chance to purchase championship merchandise after the event.
Parents – This schedule is subject to change! It is always a good idea to arrive at least one hour before the performance time in case there are any last-minute changes to the schedule. Parking at marching band tournaments is ALWAYS a challenge.
VERY IMPORTANT – If you are affected by the cold weather, PLEASE make sure to bring layers to wear under your uniform! We need you at your best for our final performance of Barriers! Once you get into uniform, we will not get out of uniform until we get back to SHHS!
10:30AM – Call Time/On Field
- Please be on the field on time and prepared for rehearsal!
- Please eat a HEALTHY breakfast before you arrive.
- Please come to rehearsal in proper uniform under dressings.
- DO NOT wear your marching shoes to rehearsal. Your shoes should be CLEAN and packed in your bag.
1:30 – Rehearsal Ends/Load Truck/Break
- It is your responsibility to make sure your instrument(s) get loaded onto the truck.
- Please eat something healthy during this time.
- Students MAY NOT leave campus during this time unless a parent/guardian provides Mr. Wooten with written permission.
- Please use this time to eat, relax, check your bags, and make sure you are prepared for the remainder of the day.
2:50 – Meet in Sections (Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, and Guard)
- Use this time to make sure you have everything you need for the remainder of the day.
3PM – Depart by Bus
- Remember proper bus behavior (see handbook)
- All students must be wearing their SHHS polo shirt or 2025 show shirt at this time. If it is too cold for your polo shirt you may wear your Logo Sweatshirt or Member Jacket. Make sure to bring layers! It will be cold!
- COLOR GUARD – Please wear your warmups. Make sure to bring layers! It will be cold!
4PM – Arrive @ Veterans Memorial Stadium
- Unload Truck/Use Restroom
- Eat something healthy! This will be the last time you have a chance to eat until we get out of uniform when we return to school!
- If you ordered championships merchandise, this is a good time to pick it up.
5:15 – Get into Uniform
- 5:15 – Girls change into uniform.
- 5:30 – Boys change into uniform.
6:10 – Depart for Warm Up Zone
6:20 – Warm Up
7:20 – Depart Warm Up Zone for Gate/Staging
7:30 – Arrive @ Gate/Staging
7:43 – Final Performance of Barriers!
8:15 – Return to busses/truck.
- We will be staying in uniform after our performance.
- We will need everyone’s help to load the trucks as quickly as possible.
8:45 – Return to Stadium
- VERY IMPORTANT – There will be a full ensemble retreat meaning all students will go to the field for awards. All students will be in uniform (no hats) for the full retreat. Student captains who go up for the awards will be wearing hats.
9PM – Awards
9:45 – Return to Busses/Truck
- We will change out of uniform when we get back to school.
10PM – Depart
11PM – Arrive at SHHS
- Once the truck is unloaded and the band room is cleaned up you will be dismissed.
